Be careful not to give more information to companies than you have to. Often the warranty cards provided by companies ask for information in addition to the necessary contact data. These cards may ask for information about lifestyle, income, preferences and habits that is subsequently used for marketing. You are not required to submit this additional information to complete the requirements for a warranty.
